Welcome to Plot Design

Plot Design is a small and friendly design consultancy that provides interior design solutions for both domestic and commercial environments. I offer a broad range of services, from 3D Visualisation and Space Planning to Interior Styling and Visual Merchandising. I can also provide Software Training sessions for clients in AutoCad and Google Sketchup.

Established in 2009, Plot Design has gone from strength to strength with a client list that includes IKEA, Unite Students, ITV and the BBC, as well as numerous domestic customers. I’m based in Nottingham, England which is ideally located to give me easy access to work anywhere in the UK as well as internationally.

Plot Design Services

Commercial Interior Design

I have worked for over 14 years in retail interior design and visual merchandising. This enables me to design an area with creativity but also with a practical focus on the commercial goal of an area.

Domestic Interior Design

We discuss your functional needs and budget for your interior design project, and then I produce Auto CAD and Google Sketchup visuals of your space. I also specialise in kitchen design and planning.

3D Visualisation

I work with interior designers to produce 3D rendered models and visuals for clients.

AutoCad Training

I run small informal training sessions for 2D AutoCAD and 3D Google SketchUp.

Unite Students underwent a national rebrand in 2014, as part of this rebrand the Estates Department were tasked with rebranding and remodelling common room and reception areas across the portfolio of 120 sites. Claire from Plot Design was bought in as part of a team of 4 designers to survey and design the properties. Claire was a joy to work with and as our brand was new had to adapt the designs at short notice which Claire did on many occasions within extremely tight deadlines. Claire’s designs are extremely detailed which helped greatly with our tendering and also the actual works on site. I would recommend Claire for any design work as she really has been a pleasure to work with and needs little direction to create a fantastic design.
